Run Down/Slow Service/Bad Food
My fiance and I were expecting a lot more based on the web shots. The resort appeared nice, however once there we realized this was not the case. The food was awful. I ate more hot dogs and pizza than I do @ home, and a lot of the times the buffet was cold. The service was not the best, very slow and @ times rude! I would not suggest this resort to any of my friends or family and we will not be returning to Barbados.

To all you guys who are looking for a wonderul and funfilled vacation, here the place you should definitely check out, everything exceeded our expectations. I have never been so impressed with a hotel like this and for the price, very very affordable. I hope you do give Almond Beach hotels a try, you wont regret it.

Very Impressed
Almond was an impromptu trip and the best i’ve had in years. Despite some of the reviews, the staff was courteous and friendly. The food was great and the drinks... nice! My dad has been gushing about it ever since and some of our friends are now planning their trips. The only issue was probably the airport shuttle which the hotel no longer has. Give it a try! well recommended.

Transportation on the island is a bit expensive so you may want to try public transport - buses or ZRs when traveling to Bridgetown.
