Hope to Stay Again
We were staying for business at the courthouse and this hotel was right across the street. The outside of the building is very misleading. The inside is upgraded and not what you expect. The only complaint we had was that our TV was not in focus. The overall stay was very pleasing and I hope to stay there again soon.

Very happy with our selection
We loved our stay at the Riverwalk Plaza. The hotel had a cozy Southwestern style that was inviting. The employees were extremely friendly and welcoming - from check in to breakfast to room/maid service. We chose Riverwalk Plaza because of the free breakfast, reasonable parking and room rates, close proximity to the Riverwalk but we will go back to the Riverwalk Plaza because of the great stay we had!

A Good Place to Stay
The Riverwalk Plaza hotel was a nice accomodation. It was neat and clean and had been recently updated. Though it is not a really fancy place, it was perfect in price, especially when we did not plan to spend any real time there, anyway. The best thing about the hotel is the unusual mural in the lobby and the friendly staff. It was also very quiet. The drabacks would be the exercis room which was very limited and the restaurant. The breakfast was very basic...ceral and rolls, no eggs and bacon. We did not eat there. The hotel is close to the Riverwalk, but not on the river. I felt just a bit unsafe walking back to the hotel after dark, though no one bothered us. It is also in easy walking distance of the Alamo, the Market and other attractions. A McDonalds is just down the street and a great, inexpensive German restaurant, too. I would stay there again.
