Unlucky
I wish I could say that this is an amazing hotel, but sadly it is overpriced for an average looking hotel. I hope that it was just bad timing on my part because they happen to be doing maintenance 2 out of the 3 days that I was there. The hotel shut off the water between 10 am to 2 pm. Beds are very comfortable, room was spacious, I had two 37 in flat screens in my room, but didn’t have much of a view. I was unable to access the internet on my laptop computer and spent 40 minutes talking to an IT person trying to fix it, but with no luck. Location was good, it is a couple of blocks from all the major stores and the light rails that will take you almost anywhere around town. I would personally not stay at another Kimpton hotel, but hopefully somebody else would have a better experience that I did. Good luck

Great location
My husband and I love staying at this hotel because of the friendly staff and central location...walking distance to several restaurants, theaters and shopping. Hotel was very quiet...except the heavy room doors slamming.

Nicest hotel I’ve been in
Extremely comfortable bed, very clean. All of the employees we met were very polite and helpful. Valet parking was convenient as finding other parking in Portland is difficult and expensive. I definitely recommend this hotel!
