Continental Breakfast was so-so. Pool was not heated. Could not buy a newspaper on the premises. How can anyone come to Orlando and not find a newspaper to know what’s happening. At the least, the hotel could make a few extra bucks without any overhead.

You Don’t Need a Car to Stay at Baymont Inn & Suites International Drive Orlando
No particular problem with the room or service at the Baymont Inn & Suites International Drive Orlando. The room price was reasonable and there were plenty of places to eat or visit areas of attraction using the public bus service on International Drive. I-Ride is inexpensive to use to get to the shopping malls at either end of the line. Also I took advantage of free shuttle service when available. However, no shuttle service is offered by the hotel to or from the air port. To ge to the hotel from the air port take the number 42 Lynx bus an tell the bus driver to let you off at Sand Lake Rd and International Drive. The weather during January can be quite cool so take approprate clothing to wear to be comfortable just in case.

Good economy lodging
Stayed here as inexpensive alternative to nearby conference hotel. Clean, quiet, no major complaints. Breakfast was weak, and the breakfast area was overrun with people each morning. Room did not have iron and ironing board. I asked for one in the evening and they said I would need to wait until morning as nobody was available in housekeeping. TV was placed on top of wardrobe, very high off the floor so you had to crane your neck almost to watch. So it wasn’t perfect, but it was clean, good location, and the price was right.
