Waikiki without the crowds
We needed a 2 bedrooms for 4 adults and the suite was great. This is not a place for kids. The pool is very small and the locals who live at the Ilikai covet the pool area.

Decent quality for the money
Read other reviews and the hotel is showing a bit of its age in the bathroom, but the hotel was well kept and the staff very friendly and accomodating with our needs. Wasn’t very impressed with the continental breakfast and how they gave you a little bagel or a little danish and you were limited to one drink with breakfast. Construction going on with the other part of the hotel and once that is done, I can see the Ilikai being restored to its former grandness. Valet parking was only offering for parking, cheaper to park at marina behind hotel. Overall a good experience.

A week in Paradise
The Ilikai excedded our expectations. It is right on the beach (short walk) and close to all the Wakikai action. Rooms were very large for a hotel room (2 closets), and well maintained. Don’t expect too much from the Continental Breakfast (however, you could add an ommlette for a small fee). Valet parking was the best - it took less than a minute to retreive your car. Overall we loved the hotel and will return on our next Hawaiian trip.
