Relaxing stay at Nassau Sheraton
Our stay at the Nassau Sheraton proved to be a nice relaxing experience. When we arrived at the Nassau airport we chose to take a taxi. The fee was reasonable for two people with luggage. I would use cab service again. The check-in at the hotel proved to be a little longer than we liked. More staff at the front desk would have made our arrival smoother. Our room was on the 7th floor and we had a full ocean view. We also overlooked two of the pools. The view was worth the trip. The food at the hotel was a little expensive. Our package had free breakfast included. I am really glad we chose this package. There are no fast food restaurants close by. You would either have to get on a bus or use a taxi to find an inexpensive alternative to the hotel food. The only complaint about our stay at the Sheraton was that there were no drink menus at the pool bar or around the pool. Not being a big drinker, I always like to see what are in the speciality drinks so that I can make a good choice. The drinks were around $9.50 each. The tax and tip were automatically included. I didn’t mind the tax already included but sometime drink service could have been better and didn’t deserve an automatic tip. The pools were beautiful and not very crowded. No fighting for lounge chairs. All in all we had a very good stay and would go back!

Not impressed. ATM not working, elevators not working, inferior food quality, but high prices!!
Perhaps it was because it was winter, but it looked that the hotel was kind of not properly maintained. F.e. the ATM was out of order upon arrival, it was still out of order when we lift 5 days later. The same for an elevator. The ’buffet’-dinner was not of good quality. The Italian restaurant however serves very decent food, but was closed the first two days. The third day we went there and it was super! We went back and I got something I didn’t order, but they made it up by giving us a free drink.

Quality hotel for a Reasonable Prize
My boyfriend and I were very satisfied with our hotel stay. You can’t beat being right on Cable Beach. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly, our room was comfortable and clean, and there is a bus right outside the hotel that takes you right into town. I feel like we got our money’s worth.
