hotel with great entertainment
Had to change rooms due to huge chunk of plaster falling from shower in the bathroom. Staff not so reliable with messages.or knowing who they checked in .(my cousin came in from Atlanta and she was rudely brushed off every time she asked if I had chedken in. Erroneously they told that I had not yet checked in. I would have also liked to have a room that directly faced the beach,rather than the side but other than that I really had a very enjoyable time in the Bahamas.
The downtown area called "Fish Fry" has many resturants that serve good fresh food at reasonable prices. Food in Hotels are very expensive.

Not impressed
While we had a beautiful hotel room, four days out of our 7days, we had no hot water. When we called to complain, no one would pick up to respond to our call. We walked to the front desk and were told they were aware of the problem and others were complaining as well. I find it unacceptable to take four days to fix the problem. Food is expensive. The hotel restaurant has a buffet at breakfast, but no menu to order just oatmeal or an egg and toast. You can catch a bus right in front of the hotel for just a little over a dollar and that was convenient and a huge savings from taking a cab.
The buses run every 15 minutes from the hotel and are clean, comfortable, and inexpensive. Taking a cab adds up very quickly.

Birthday trip
The hotel and staff were great!! Check out R. Kelly at the bar lol... There are plenty of shops across the street from the hotel to buy suveniors ... The food at the hotel is super expensive... Only complaint was that I had to wait 30 mins to check in.. Would def stay there again
Go to the stores across the street from the hotel to pick up cheap gifts to take home...
