Paper Thin Doors
The lobby is pretty nice. The room itself was nothing to write home about but adequate. The internet access was slower than usual. My biggest issue was that the doors allowed sound to penetrate like they were not even there. The main door was not so bad since there was very little activity in the hallway but where there was I heard it perfectly. I had the misfortune of getting a room with an interior door between my room and the next. The travel fairies then decided to have a couple with an infant and a small child occupy that room. In the morning all I heard was non-stop crying and fussing. Not the wakeup call I wanted. It is amazing how this completely ruined what would have been an otherwise adequate stay. The door issue should really be addressed for this class of hotel.

Christmas weekend with pet
We stayed over Christmas weekend (3 nights) with our pet dog (35 pounds). The entire staff, from the front desk at check-in, to the room service staff, to the housekeeping staff, were entirely gracious and wonderfully hospitable to my wife and I as well as our pet. The hotel location is just about perfect! Convenience stores just steps away, and within walking distance to the River Street area. The room faced the river (with a beautiful view of the bridge) and had a king-size bed. It was impeccably made up each day, even to the standards of my wife (whose cleanliness standards, especially for bathrooms, are unmatched). We would definitely (and probably will) stay again!

Was ok, probably not stay there again.
It has a beautiful lobby & the staff was very accomodating. I was not impressed with the room, I expected it to be much nicer based on the lobby. It was a typical hotel room with nothing much to make it special. The pillows on the bed were awful.
