Perfect gateway to Hilo airport
Basic accomodations conveniently located (not too) close to the Hilo airport. Perfect for that early morning flight from the Big Island. Beautiful koi pond. Local feel and look.

Hotel is fine but the parking is very lacking!
The hotel is conveniently located, has clean but dated room, and has a nice restaurant next door. There seems to be no parking designated specifically for hotel guests. There is a small lot next to the hotel, but it is always filled up. The only other parking is on the streets nearby or at a small beach across the street. While we were there, a guest’s car was broken into and items stolen. This was parked on the street within 30’ of the hotel entrance! There are several hotels on the same road and I believe they have dedicated parking for their guests. I would probably stay at one of these before going back to the Hilo Seaside.

Close to Volcano
hotel very outdated. parking is horrible. close to volcano national park. walking distance from ken’s diner (good food and pancakes). If you are only staying 2 or 3 days this hotel is okay any longer i’d stay somewhere else.
