Lost its greatness
A once beautiful resort is now tired and a bit run down. Soft, lumpy bed and many items in need of repair or maintenance. The wellness center was the one highlight.

Loved the atmosphere!
While we’ve stayed in nicer rooms before, we came here for much more than the room, & Bishops Lodge delivered! Great hiking trails, a beautiful pool area with really comfy chairs, an Awesome chef at the restaurant, friendly staff and all very close to the city.
Traveler's tip on dining
For an excellent casual (locally authentic) meal, try the Tesuque Village Market just a couple miles from the resort (seemingly in the middle of nowhere). The place was always hoppin’!

Overall very good, needs a little work....
Grounds and pool area are spectacular. My wife said the spa was excellent. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable but the hotel overall needs a little work. I would not pay full price for this hotel but at a discount it was a great place to stay.
