Great value in an authentic New York neighborhood.
Off Soho Suites was perfect for our trip to New York. Located on the border of Soho and the Lower East Side, there was plenty going on in the neighborhood and easy access to subways. The price was a lot less than most other New York hotels, and the room was huge with a kitchen, free WiFi, and a separate bedroom. There is no TV in the bedroom, and the glass bathroom shelf is right over the sink, making it hard to wash your face, but these things are forgivable with such a great price and location. I’m the kind of person who wants to walk a few blocks through the neighborhood to get my coffee or lunch, so this place was perfect. I highly recommend it.
Traveler's tip on dining
Within 10 minutes walk are Donut Plant, Katz Deli, Pickle Guys, Bread, and probably lots of other great spots I don’t know about. Yum!

cheap and convenient hotel in NYC
Pros:conveniently located near subway and chinatown suitable for up to 4 pax. nice little kitchenette cons: not very friendly front office and lousy view out the window but for the price we paid, we could not complain
