Antique Character
The hotel had a lot of character, which I like. The room was huge, it didn’t have a window, but that wasn’t a problem. The floors were very old hardwood, and creaky, but that gave the room character. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was old, but clean. The maid service cleaned it each day and left fresh towels. The only thing not cleaned was the coffee pot, I didn’t use it for that reason. There was a big football game that weekend, and a lot of noise in the hallways all night. Once the football people left, it was very quiet. The management had left a note on the table to call if there were any noise problems, I didn’t see it until they had left. The rest of our stay was very quiet.

Under Staffed and Not Impressed
This hotel was poorly staffed over a holiday period. Only 1 bellman during peak check-in time who tried to handle both valet parking and bellman duties. Room was small, air conditioner filthy, no luggage rack for your suitcase, had an ironing board without an iron. Staff was helpful and friendly when you could locate them. Would not recommend.
