Overlooking Recoleta Cemetery on Halloween!
We arrived early for check in after an overnight flight, so had to wait awhile. The front desk clerk upgraded our room due to the wait (even though we arrived earlier than the posted check in time). We had a wonderful suite (#906) that had a jacuzzi, balcony and the best view of Recoleta and the cemetery. On Halloween and my birthday, it was the best! The hotel is has an interesting older style charisma, and is sophisticated not trendy or pretentious. The staff are professional and very helpful. I loved this hotel for its value, location, cleanliness, and the feeling that there is a history of many good times for travelers who had passed that way before me.

Great location. I’ll go back for sure.
The hotel location is the best. Close to many points of interest, and the Recoleta’s great resturants... The rooms need to be renewed very bad: they are huge, but there’s almost no furniture. For that reason, the rooms don’t seem to be cozy at all. Good breakfast, good price, attendants are very kind. Forget about the room and enjoy BsAs as much as you can.
El Sanjuanino is the right place for empanadas and very close to the hotel (Calle Posadas): they’re very tasty and cheap. Try the Freddo ice cream right cross the street and Cafe La Biela.

best location in BA.
Overall very pleased with the service , the location and the room. Not so much for the bathroom, not updated and with clear signs of water damage.
