Nice & Clean Hotel
We had a wonderful time in Disneyworld, and our stay at Coronado Springs. The room was comfortable, clean, and roomy. Our only issue was that our room was about 4 blocks away from the nearest bus stop. (which we werent used to, when we stayed at Saratoga Springs in Feb 09, the bus stop was right outside of our room) Also the main pool is pretty far from the main lobby area. Other than that the hotel was great.

Great place to stay on Disneys "Inside"
Everything was great - The hotel grounds and common areas were wonderful, there was plenty of variety in dining choices on campus, and it was very easy to plan disney park trips taking advantage of the bus services. Though we only got a chance to take advantage of it right before we left, the "dig site" pool (with water slide, hot tub, and arcade) was very cool. Wish we had more time to spend on the hotel grounds but it was a quick trip for us. And dont miss out on relaxing in the hammock area - we didnt see that area until we were leaving but looked VERY inviting. We were kind of bummed that the boat rental on the small lake central to the resort wasnt open while we were there (we would have definitely rented one or two to try it out). The only reason we gave the condition a 4 rating was based on the bathroom of our room and a few of the other details of the room itself. Nothing to do with level of cleanliness just a bit of age/wear was showing through. However, the bed/linens were fresh and looked very new, the bed itself was VERY comfortable (too comfortable!), and everything about the common areas reflected a high standard. We would definitely choose to stay there again if we were planning to stay on campus @ Disney and not in a timeshare facility just outside.
We have found that early November is an EXCELLENT time to visit Disney. Crowds are minimal (even on the weekends) and the level of personal service everyone seems to be able to provide is at a higher standard. Rates on the Disney hotels are also excellent, and often you can upgrade or add a night for a very reasonable amount. The weather is also wonderful - Mostly high 70s/low 80s--not so hot that you find yourself needing to cool off very often (or slather on the SPF 50 all day long), and not so cool that you need a jacket (until the sun goes down, that is!). Its a great time to travel especially if you have kids - less complaints and less requests for ice cream and cool treats! They were in the middle of transitioning from Halloween time decor over to Christmas time and we were amused to see them putting up the wreaths and trees while we were there, even earlier than our retailers at home - it was beautiful though!

Disney hotel
Coronado Springs is a very nice Disney hotel. We enjoyed our stay there last month. Pros: Disney transportation system is a great convenience, bus stations around the property-you can jump on/off very close to your room, grounds are beautiful, check in is easy, rooms are good and typical Disney hotel standards are met. Cons: Food service is confusing and inefficient, way-finding on the property is challenging.
