First class
The Ritz Carloto is as it’s name sake would suggest, First Class. Everyone was friendly and very accomadating and the check in process only took a few minutes. The room was ready eventhough we arrived a little earlier than expected. The pool and especially the beach was perfect and clean. The staff made sure that you had all the towels you needed and put out the lounge chairs on the beach just were you wanted to. There was never a wait for service. The restaurants were a dinning experience but very pricey. Only draw back is if you wanted a coffee in the evening you either ordered room service or made it in your room, not ideal.

This is NOT a typical Ritz Carlton
Totally NOT worth the money you spend there! Everything is super expensive; there are only 2 fancy restaurants open for dinner; service in the lobby and all the other places is extremely slow; food for lunch at the pool and the sea bar is not fresh and mostly junk... The rooms are barely cleaned (look under your bed) and just everything is on a different paste. There were couple of employees that actually smiled at us and were friendly - everyone else was awfully grumpy, unkept and very slow in whatever you need. So, no, do not go there - for your money there are much better places in the world.

Convenient and luxurious
The room was beautiful, the staff was top notch and the overall experience was very relaxing and enjoyable. For weekends, get restaurant reservations in advance. Aside from the casino, plan on finding nightlife outside of the hotel. The lobby bar is fine, but very low key.
