very cozy
This hotel was very cozy and you can fell it’s history throughout the entire hotel. We at first were placed in a corner room that was right in front of Main St. so it was a little loud with street traffic. The bed and room were really comfortable.

Beautiful country inn
We were first given a room on the front of the hotel which was very very noisy from road traffic. Upon requesting a room change, we were switched to a quieter side of the hotel. The front desk was very helpful in every respect.

The restaurant at the hotel was wonderful, great food, excellent service.

Great area...Daily Room Cleaning was an issue
This Hotel is in the Heart of Stowe and have every imaginable extra...Great place to enjoy a romantic getaway...The luxury room was awesome with the attached living room and firplace and jacuzzi were an excellent extra. Probably the best value we have ever experienced. The only downside was the daily room cleaning...Some days it took till 2PM to get rooms cleaned...This service needs to be improved.

We went during off season and teir wasn’t a lot of actviites so make sure you go with someone whose company you enjoy.
