Just passable
Very old bedding but was okay enough. Dead ants in the bathroom. Weird layout of rooms. Air conditioner is in the vanity area. Bathrooms have window that opens, which could be a plus or minus to you. Breakfast was a pastry or muffin and juice/coffee, but Denny’s is right next to it so you can eat a cheap breakfast there. The spa was hot and jets worked, but their lights came on too late so it was completely dark.

Reasonable overnight
This is a budget hotel and I didn’t expect much. To my surprise the room was larger than average and there was every convenience supplied in the room including refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, iron, and hair dryer. The refrigerator made noises every time it cycled but I didn’t have anything in it so I pulled the plug before going to bed. The "continental breakfast" offerings were just danish, muffins, coffee and juice in the very small office entry. Just a small bench seat to sit and eat. Have had much better elsewhere. Small pool and jacuzzi seemed to be enjoyed by some of the guests. Hotel is built on a hill so not a place for handicapped guests as the walk up is rather steep. Office staff not very friendly or gracious.

Pleasant Stay
The Vagabond caters to pets, which we liked. We had our 2 puppies with us and the stay was very enjoyable. No problems at all.

Very easy to find right off the 101 freeway.
