We will be back.
The people at Kiahuna Plantation were great. The room was very comfortable and set up very nice. Next time we will spend a little extra and get a room by the beach. When we go back to Kauai we will probably stay at the Outrigger Kiahuna Plantation again. It was centrally located and still on a very nice Beach, Poipu Beach, The hotel has complimentary beach chairs and beach towels right on the beach for your convience, whcih was great. You could rent snorkel or boogie boards at the little hut where you got your chairs and towels if you wanted. The hotel was within walking distance of a little shopping area as well as some very nice restrauants. Great place to stay. Nice walking path along the beach.

I wish we could buy a unit!!
We first stayed here when I was pregnant and decided to come back now that our baby is here. We had such an excellent experience then and knew it would be a great place to bring our 8 month old. She was able to crawl all over the place including out to the grassy area since our lanai had a gate which opened to the grass. It was more than spacious and comfortable for her which was our main priority. Poipu beach is just a few yards away, getting to the pool is farther!! We plan to come back with our entire family since it is such a great place for big groups. Nice, peaceful, and comfortable - just the way a vacation should be... I always rave about this place when I come home...
