Business/Family trip - An incredible time!
The Dearborn Inn was a pleasure to stay for 4 nights. The room had two views of the hotel courtyard and the bed was very comfortable. The thermostat wasnt working when we first checked in to the room but after informing the front desk, it was fixed in under 10 minutes. The front desk staff helped us with our passes to Greenfield Village & Henry Ford Museum, a "must see" if you are ever in the area. The breakfast buffet includes fresh fruit and a make-to-order waffle/omlet station at a reasonalble price, with an attentive serving staff that spoils you like you are at home. The hotels lounge, with a regulation-size pool table and waitress, offers an excellent atmosphere to unwind after a day of business or sightseeing. The hotel lobby affords a comfortable atmosphere for visiting with friends or just kicking back with a good book. The only complaint that I have, as business traveler, is that, at the price/night to stay here, free internet should be provided to guests.

classy but some oversights
Ive stayed at the Dearborn Inn before and have been very satisfied. However, this time we were given a room that looked okay until we saw that the bathroom had not yet been cleaned from the previous occupant. In addition to that, there was a long, many-legged centipede trying to find its way out of the tub. When I went to the phone to call the front desk, not only was the phone cruddy, crusty and sticky, it also didnt work. On their behalf, the hotel did give us a different room and offered to move our belongings for us. We moved our own luggage. They did offer to give us a free movie to make up for the difficulty, but when we travel, the last thing we want to do is sit in the hotel room and watch a movie. We can do that for free at home. Also, beware the $12.95 daily fee for internet. Wow. Really? A higher end hotel charging for that? They should really consider just throwing that into the rental of the room and not charge extra for it. Next time, Ill stay on the outskirts of Dearborn at a newer hotel with an indoor pool.

Excellent, excellent
This was the stay for my 50th high school reunion, and it remains as the premier stay in the greater Detroit area.
