Aruba !!! We will return
We realy enjoyed our stay at the Occidental Grand Aruba, We liked it so much we bought into the vacation club there. I had never been to an all inclusive vacation before. We pretty much stayed at the Hotel. We never felt like we were trapped there . We enjoyed the different restaurants available to us. The pool with hot tubs & beach was beautiful.Also, the drinks never stopped. We were never hungry. There was always some place that was serving food. Well all I can say we totally loved it. We will definately return.

We Didnt Want to Leave!!!
we loved the occidental grand aruba!!! whenever you go somewhere new, you worry that you will arrive and see other hotels you would rather have booked. that is our biggest fear when we travel. but from the moment we walked into the lobby of the occidental grand, we knew wed made a good choice. luis the night desk clerk was friendly and kind and informative. he was thoughtful and sent food to our room because he realized how late we would be arriving and that the food service would end before we got there. our concierge, paola, was helpful in every possible way. she accomodated our dinner reservation requests and even changed them for us a few times. also marguerita the waitress was always friendly and nice to see. she waited on us several times and we always felt welcomed and taken care of as if she was our friend. we cant wait to come back again!!! we couldnt have been happier with our choice of hotel and will always recommend it to anyone interested in visiting aruba!

I would pass...
This hotel was in a great location. Their beach front was large. The grounds were very clean and the staff was friendly. We didnt have large bath towels 2 days of our stay and had to ask for them. We were on our honeymoon and were told that there would be champagne in the room, but there was not. We mentioned it to the front desk and, although they said that we would receive some, we never received any. There are 4 restaurants on the grounds for dinner and one chinese food buffet. You must make reservations days in advance for dinner if you want to eat in the restaurants with wait service (ie, if you dont want to eat at the buffet). We were only allowed to make 2 reservations in advance because we were staying 4 nights. Not all 4 restaurants were available every night. Hotel staff said that it was in our best interest to wait in line when we arrived at the hotel (we waited for over an hour) to make dinner reservations. We had to eat the chinese food buffet our first night there, and we were a little frustrated by that. There are so many other hotels right next to this one, so if I were to go back, I would probably choose a different hotel. The food situation really ruined it for me, and there were so many restaurants right across the street...
