Nice hotel but lacking ....
We were in Barbados on vacation and stayed at the Accra for two nights. We were in the new wing and the room was very nice looking and clean but it overlooked a horrible burned out building so we kept the curtains closed. The bed was also quite hard so we didnt sleep well. My son enjoyed swimming in the hotel pool but the waves at the beach there were too strong for me to feel comfortable having him in the sea. We found the staff at the hotel to be civil but not friendly.

Ok but service staff could be a bit more helpful and responsive
Very nice hotel. Front desk had problems locating the reservation but then "upgraded" our room to a suite. The suite did not have a safe and doors didnt lock. Had to change rooms but the one we finally received was indeed very nice. Front desk staff might have been a bit more helpful in explaining hotel services and amenities. Hotel was very clean and well kept and other staff were most helpful. Pool and beach were great - concierge service limited. Food was medium to good.
Traveler's tip on shopping
