Crummy, Overpriced Hotel
I regret wasting a fortune staying at this hotel on 7/3/09. Hotel was in very poor condition. Room was musty. I would have gone elsewhere, except that it was late before a Holiday and I had been required to prepay for the room. In the morning, the promised restaurant turned out to be very basic continental buffet. Even the coffee pot was empty. Ended up going to a diner down the road.

Be careful of what you ask for...
When I first got to the hotel, the man at the desk told me that my room was on the second floor around the corner. I drove to the other side of the hotel and it looked like something out of a scary movie. The side walk was falling apart, the rooms were deserted, and it had an empty feel to it. I walked to my room which was the absolute last room. I felt very unsafe as a young woman staying there. As I walked to the room, I looked through the window and there was a moth. No big deal, probably flew in when they were cleaning. I opened the door and there was a pile of at least 15 dead bugs at the door. Not freshly dead either. The lights didnt work and there was no toilet seat cover on the toilet. I was so grossed out. I called the front desk to complain and the man said that "that was the room I requested". I replied the only thing I requested was a double bed in a nonsmoking room. I asked to be switched to a new room and he accommodated my request in an efficient and kind manner. The second room was soooooooooooooo much better. The bed was clean, everything worked, and best of all no bugs. The only thing I can say is that make sure you know what kind of room you are requesting and ask if housekeeping had been there to clean recently!

Dont stay at this hotel
We would not recommend this "hotel" (really a motel) for anyone to stay. We pulled up to our door and after getting out of our car, we found trash all over the parking lot and in front of the door of our room. The room was small, musty and stale smelling and depressing. The "coat rack", which was attached to the wall, was only attached at one end - the other end had been pulled out of the wall and not repaired. The bathroom was clean, but we gagged brushing our teeth, as the water smelled like sulphur. We unfortunately booked the room for two nights. The morning that we left, the room phone rang at 7:20 a.m., waking us up, but no one would respond when we answered the phone. We were darn glad to get out of there!
