The Good....The Bad....But Fortunately No Ugly!
The Good: The cost was reasonable. The hotel staff were very helpful, friendly, accomodating etc. The rooms (as well as the rest of the hotel) were spacious and clean. Maid service wonderful. Nice pool and private beach. The hotel included a continental breakfast (pastry served was fantastic!). The Bad: The hotel HAD to include breakfast....there was no other place close to go for breakfast (or lunch or dinner). You will need a scooter, taxi or a nice long walk (at least to access public transportation) to see anything off grounds....let alone to eat or drink. The beach is small, a little out of the way and the same color as the Maryland shore (probably why the hotel is located on "White" Sands Road). No Ugly: Fantatstic ocean views from most areas of the hotel....especially from the veranda (where breakfast is served every morning) and pool area.
As mentioned the hotel serves breakfast but does not accomodate for lunch or dinner. You will need to "travel" to dine out. There is a grocery store not to far from the hotel that also sells "hot" (prepared ) food items (should get there early before they sell out). I bought a prepared meal there every night and had a great sunset dinner, from the hotel veranda, overlooking the ocean. I vacationed alone but it was so romantic I wanted to hold hands with myself!

Would not go back and would not recommend the hotel to anyone else.....
The room was not clean upon arrival. My daughter found a dead cockroach in the bathroom. Our air conditioner broke and we were not given a replacement and had to insist on moving to another room (with a similar view since we paid for ocean view)...no concession was offered. On our last day the pool had turned to a greenish color. Though we could use it we choose not to.
