Great for the money, great part of town
Very friendly staff, very nice room, especially for the price that I got from Expedia. Was kind of miffed to see that free wi-fi was only available in public spaces in the hotel (cafe, lobby, etc.) as opposed to in rooms, but that was fine. TV was from 1982 or so, but worked just fine. Bed was very comfy. Only major issue was that my tub didn’t drain quickly and I ended up standing in a few inches of water during showers. Was very close to the Capitol and all of the shopping and dining on 6th and 7th Streets.

Lovely hotel
First time staying at an Intercontinetal as I’m normally loyal to another chain but found this hotel very accomodating and pleasant. The service was impeccable from the valets to the resturaunt staff - friendly, attentive and service oriented. The room was small - single queen - but very clean with six fluffy pillows and a down comforter!Only drawbacks - being in Downtown, parking was crunched so had to use valet which a bit pricey and the neighborhood 3 blocks down was less than desirable. At the end of Congress with all the trendy places being a few blocks away.

Anniversary at the Intercontinental
The ONLY problems we had were the type and reception of the television. The reception was bad, and the television was very outdated. The other more major problem involved the air conditioner. The room temperature swung from uncomfortable warm and stuffy to cold during our stay. Also the amount of noise made by the unit was enough to keep both my wife and I from sleeping.
