Great choice
A newer hotel in a historic district, very well suited for taking my mom. She has some problems getting around. Outstanding attention to her by hotel staff, offering help, wheelchair, reservations, etc. Her first trip to Charleston. She loved the city, and that was magnified by hotel staff. Very attentive to her at breakfast. Thanks much to the staff. Highly recommended.

What Happened?
I was so impressed with this hotel and the city in Jan 09 I went back in September 09. This hotel was the only negative of my latest trip to Charleston.

Small, Convenient, Pleasant Hotel
Although I stayed only one night, this hotel was very pleasant. It’s small size made it easy to find my way around and the gathering areas were somewhat intimate and comfortable. Staff persons were very courteous and helpful. The off-street parking was convenient as well as cost-free. The room was quiet and very adequate with a nicely-appointed bathroom. The hotel was a short walk from the market area, and finding a restaurant was no problem. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Charleston, provided no need to accomodate a business meeting of any size.
