Great Location, Breakfast, and Customer Service
We spent a week at the Artemide Hotel in January 2010 and it was one of the best hotels I stayed in for business or pleasure. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were always friendly and fluent in English. We arrived well before the stated check-in time and because the room was not ready upon our arrival they upgraded us to a Superior room free of charge. The location of the hotel is only two blocks from the Metro stop at Piazza della Repubblica which made getting to the major sites much easier and faster. The breakfast buffet was included with the room and the food was very good everyday we were there. The superior room we were given was very large and very nice - clean and quiet. The mini-bar in the room was restocked everyday and was included in the cost of the room. The water bottles were great to take while sightseeing. The only bad thing I can say about the hotel was the Wi-Fi did not work with the MacBook that we had with us. The staff did everything they could to solve the connection problems - I am not sure if it was the hotels fault or ours but they were accommodating and let us us the computers in the business center free of charge all week. I will stay at the Artemide Hotel every time I am in Rome.

Excellent Staff
Excellent staff - very helpful. Contacted FCO re: lost luggage and handled everything. Breakfast bar was standard Italy fare. Free minibar with coffee maker in room. Free WIFI for laptop use or 12E unlimited use from ground floor. Location can’t be beat - 100 yards from metro. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Especially impressed with the staff which can be a toss up even at 5* hotels in Italy.

Rome Hotel
Excellent, informative staff , with a modern, well located hotel walking distance to most of the major attractions of center city Rome. The free mini refrigerator was well stocked each day. The full hot and cold breakfast was included with the room rate as well as American coffee. The staff recommended several excellent restaurants that were located nearby. A great hotel at a fair price.
