Perfectly adequate
This is not a luxury resort, but absolutely gets the job done. The beach chairs are a pleasant place to read. The small pool is fine. The breakfast is OK. The rooms were clean and reasonably sized, although virtually undecorated (all painted plain white), and without any notable amenities. We paid a little bit extra for the ocean view, and were glad we did. The views from the rooms were stunning.

A good value
We had a two bedroom suite, converted for wheelchair access. The layout was not real good, and the second bedroom looked out at the street. This suite wasn’t real nice in terms of condition (torn screens), and we had a persistent plumbing problem for most of the week we were there. On the good side, however, when the plumbing problem elevated itself to a crisis mode, the staff moved us quickly into a re-done suite, which was much nicer than the first. The staff was great (bilingual, all), the location terrific (close enough to town to walk, but in the resort district, and far away from the cruise ship dock). The best part of the facility remains the reef, upon which the hotel is built -- jump into the ocean from the retaining wall, and there’s a lively coral reef that extends miles in both directions -- no hassles with charter boats or anything. Be sure to bring your mask, snorkel and flippers, and you’ll have a great time. The television cable in the rooms wasn’t very good, but they have a great satellite system in the bar!

Exactly as advertised
The Coral Princess is exactly as advertised. The view from our room was amazing and worth the little extra for the ocean view. The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. The snorkeling right in front of the hotel is the best and a great way to relax in the afternoon between diving and a nap!
