Decent Hotel
The lobby is much more impressive than the rooms. The beds were small and the rooms were outdated. The view of the castle made up for it though. Overall, I would stay here again

Excellent location - great staff!
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was top notch, the location was in the middle of everything we wanted to do, they exceeded our expectations. The room are clean but not spacious, but we only used the room to sleep and wash up so for us it was AWESOME! We definetly recommend this hotel. The castle is decent, the Peace Memorial is unforgettable, and the shopping is fun. I wish we would have made plans to stay another day!

Hiroshima had a more significant impact on us as an overall expereince. We spent 1 1/2 days and 1 night, and wished we had booked an extra day.

Great Hotel for us
Righa hotel was perfect for us because we came to visit the Peace Memorial, Hiroshima Castle, and to shop. We used the taxi service which was extremely convenient to and from the Shinkansen and the hotel. Note the internet was not free for our laptop. We stay at different hotels throughout the world with the intention of visiting again on the next return trip. We are traveling also to Kyoto, Hakone and Tokyo.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
since going to other cities, we purchased a 7 day JR Rail pass for the Green Car (reserved seats and approx. $90 more per ticket). It is worth the added costs for comfort and guarantee of seating.
