Great hotel
We stayed at the Sheraton while we were in town for a wedding (reception was at the Sheraton). We were very surprised at the size of the room and thought that we had been upgraded! There is a "Keurig-type" instant coffee maker in each room, but it’s a Starbucks brand coffee. The bed was very comfortable. The restaurant downstairs, Basil served delicious food and drinks and provided a wonderful huge breakfast buffet every morning at an additional cost. Well worth it in our opinion. The staff was really great as well, and even gave us a complimentary ride to the Amtrak station down the street. I give the area surrounding the hotel a lesser grade because it’s in the middle of the financial district and there isn’t much going on. We couldn’t even find a convenience store. So if you’re staying in the hotel on a weekend and don’t know the area well, you probably won’t find much to do just walking around.

Sheraton Suites Wilmington
There were a few problems which the hotel staff helped to solve - TV control not functioning and inability to connect to websites at the computers in the lobby area. Room was clean and comfortable. Work table for my laptop was sufficiently large I could spread out.
If you are coming from PHL via taxi, be sure to have plenty of cash. Despite assurances from airport personnel they take credit cards, both drivers I encountered insisted they would not take credit cards. The driver stopped at an ATM in order for me to withdraw money to pay for the journey. Consider getting a limo service. Also, the taxi driver which brought me to the hotel got lost - apparently plugging in the hotel address on the GPS led to another destination in Wilmington. He had to call the hotel to get better directions.

11 years later, just as nice
Stay every year for my anniversary for 11 years. Loved it then. Love it now.
