"To Loud to Relax"
Very nice hotel. People were very friendly and helpful. The only problem I had with this hotel is that I wasn’t there to party 24 hours a day. I was there on my honeymoon. The noise during the day was to be expected and I had no problem with it, but at night it was ridiculous. Clubs getting out at 2:30am and people running up and down the halls slamming their doors because they we drunk was not welcomed. Barely got any sleep. This hotel is more for younger kids or people looking to party it up. The price is worth it and it is a very nice hotel.

Great for Universal Studios
Hard Rock Hotel is great for families wanting to visit Universal Studios and other Orlando attractions. You get automatic Express Passes as a resident of the hotel, which means you get to the front of the queue on virtually every ride (except the newly open ones) . You also get access to the park earlier than everyone else (although most of the rides don’t start till open time). It’s a short walk or pleasant boat ride from hotel to front gates of the park, close enough to go home for a couple of hours and cool off in the pool and then venture out again. Pool is fab, with water slide. Food is average and pricey. The Palm Restaurant within the hotel did fabulous steaks, but pricey. Nice for our one ’special’ meal of the week. Pop memorabilia everywhere was v interesting for me and Dad, but spent most of the time explaining to the kids who all these aging rockers were. Could do with some more recent stuff for the younger guests! We would definitely go again if we wanted to revisit Universal, but otherwise prob wouldn’t bother.

Great Hotel
We stayed at the Hard Rock during Halloween Horror Nights. Visited the park during the day as well. I wish we would have been able to use the pool area more....it looked inviting. The Palm Restaurant was excellent!
