Stop dodging accountability
We booked this hotel through Expedia. We selected a "King Executive" for our stay, the last day of our vacation. Upon arrival, we were directed to a room. It had two double beds. We went back to the front desk, where we were told that they didn’t have any "King Executive" rooms, and we were given a regular King room. Fine, whatever. I called Expedia to resolve the price difference, who thoughtfully called the hotel - and suddenly, there was a King Exec available. What the heck? We called the manager, who apologized profusely, brought a treat personally, and assured us there would be no more trouble. Okay, fine, three rooms in one day. We ordered room service. An hour passed, and we called the manager again, who told us a new person had taken our order and forgotten our name and room number. The meal was comped, which was nice, but still - we were unhappy with our stay. While I’m sure this is a one time occurrence, it still is a black mark on the hotel. I have Expedia to thank for salvaging what could have been an awful experience.

Order the room service. If it takes an hour, complain, and get it free. The food was excellent if late.
