A NIce Hotel in a Good LOcation
My wife and I have stayed at the Old Town Pasadena Courtyard Marriott on 3 occasions. We have founf the hotel, its location, and level of cleanliness/service acceptable on all occasions. More recently, we stayed in Pasadena, but we took the light rail from near the hotel directly to Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles and then the metro to Pershing Square. People can ride all day for $5. There is also a bus, I believe #10, that goes from across the street from UNion Station to Santa Monica. This is great for people wishing to get around, but don’t want to chance SoCal’s freeways. As a recommendation, City Thai on Fair Okas is quite good as is Tortas Mexico where you can get tamales and champurrado in addition to well-made tortas. The folks there are from Oaxaca and do things right. I’m sure we’ll be back there on a subsequent visit.

Excellent Location and Great Service
We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, our room was quiet and clean and the location is superb - within easy walking distance to Old Town Pasadena.

Easy access to Old Town Pasadena
IF Old Town Pasadena is your destination, there is not a better place to stay ! Safe, secure parking for your car and 1 block north of Colorado Blvd. We walked the streets and alleys of Old Town enjoying the restaurants, bars, shops and the ultimate movie theater. Seating by reservation only in comfortable love seats with cocktail service ! Comfortable, clean rooms...nice and quiet . Only sign of age it the old type TV sets rather than flat panels. Referigerator in room a real plus after visiting Trader Joes for wine, cheese and water. Friendly Pasadena Police visible in Old Town keeping the trash out. Excellent breakfast buffet with freat coffee, omlet bar , cereal, lots of fresh fruit and juice included BUT many great small breakfast restaurants within walking distance. Great place as a home base while enjoying Pasadena.
