good location
Downpoint is the bathroom (considering obviously the room i stayed). It is narrow and unpractical to use toilet due to large sliding door, which should be of different door-type to be more confortable.

Good Location
Hotel was clean and comfortable, 15 minute walk from center of town and many churches/museums.

Check out the car with driver offered by the concierge in the lobby for the Monte Alban/Mitla trips, great value for money.

Pure Local Culture
The hotel is conveniently located in the downtown area of Oaxaca, yet the area is residential and very quiet. The main cultural atractions, dining and night life are all in walking distance. The room had plenty of space, a small balcony, a gym, continental breakfast, a pool, wireless internet, cable TV and even some smoking rooms are available on the top floor. I highly recommend this hotel.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
If knowing that downtown Oaxaca is proclaimed a world cultural heritage city by the UNESCO isn’t enough, here are a few pointers. Just 3 blocks away you will find the most beautiful temple of Santo Domingo and the annex is a ex-convent now convertied into a museum well worth a few hours of your time. Many more locations around the area are a must for all visitors. Tours to the archealogy sites can be booked in the hotel lobby.
