Can’t wait to go back again!
This was our second stay at Sunset Beach and they have made many improvements since our first stay in 2006. The drinks are great and plentiful and the food in the buffet restaurant is very good. We got to try the Chinese restaurant this time and it was very good. I love the water slides and the 3 swimming pools. There were quite a few jellyfish in the water a couple of days but otherwise the ocean is beautiful and clear here. Can’t wait to go back again.

"All four of us enjoyed our vacation"
This was our first trip to Jamacia, my wife and I and the two boy’s, 11 and 17. We were the only group on our bus.The driver was pleasent and informed us of the area. As we arrived we were greeted by a young man with a cool towel and a cool juice drink. Very nice touch. The check in was smooth and the bell man was nice also. The lobby was nice and clean open and airy. I booked the standard room, but was upgraded to the ocean view. The view was very nice but the room was dated. It needed fresh paint, ceiling, walls, bathroom and new fixtures and floor in bathroom. The Hotel was renovating the rooms. Floor 5 was finished and looks very nice. Food was good, Jerk chicken at the grill was the best. Beach was great, wife sat in the sun boys and I snorkeled all day, lots of coral reefs, starfish, baracuda, conch everything. Pools were great also, two swim up bar pools, one recreaction pool, and a very large kid pool with lazy river, zero entrance, two slids, and warm clean water, very nice I used this with my 11 to cool off. They had entertainment every night. Jamacian music, fun stuff for all. If you are a nudist there is a beach for you, short walk and private. This is a good property for couples, families, singles but not for college kids (no nightlife). Overall, the boys said this was their best vacation because of the snorkeling, good weather, nice beach, pools and food. As for the rooms, it had good air and hot water, clean beds, great view.
We all loved the dune bungy ride at Cumcka (sp) Nice ride for all, Polaris RZR -S great machines, worth the money.
