Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa In The Fall
It’s a lovely area. Try to get a first-floor room with a walk-out balcony. Mountain-side view. The walking trails are well-maintained and make for an invigorating walk. Take sweaters and extra clothes for layering. It’s colder and more windy than you might think. My room wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. I just dusted it myself each day. The bed was wonderful and comfortable. Even after I requested a first-floor room, the front desk tried to check me into a third-floor room. It was 3:30 p.m. I wasn’t in my room until almost 4 p.m. I would have called from the hotel and ensured my reservation and that it was being cleaned and prepared had I known this. The food in the hotel was good but pricey. I preferred to go out into town to eat. The pools are all heated. Fabulous. The hot tub is gorgeous. Ready for a relaxing night? Pop out there for a few minutes. Overall, I was very happy with my trip. It was for my and my husband’s seventh wedding anniversary.

Lovely and Relaxing Atmosphere
The Tamaya was the perfect place to stay while experiencing some of the wonders of New Mexico. Emphasis is placed on health and wellness. There is a walking trail on the premesis that goes to the shore of the Rio Grande. It winds through cottonwood trees and has a station every so often where hikers can do various work-out exercises. The restaurants serve excellent cuisine that is seasoned with NM spices; green chilis often are featured. The service personnel were gracious, helpful, and efficient. You need a car to get around to visit various sites, as the resort is very isolated - a real getaway. Would like to go back again.
