Lots of Character
Quaint little hotel, was extremely satisfied, will stay again. Expect a 100 year old converted boarding house that has all you need with tons of character. Within walking distance of the Superdome.

Good alternative
location in the Garden District, on streetcar line, and near Magazine Street are a plus. Charming inner courtyard.

As Good As The Last Time
This was my second time to stay at Avenue Garden and if I have the opportunity to do so, I will definitely stay there again. The only thing I could scrounge up to "complain" about was there was barely any hot water at 8am, but after waiting a few minutes this was no longer an issue. The location is great, plenty of great food near by and Canal St. is a short, pleasant trolley ride away.
