First time in Bermuda for relaxation
This review is about my first visit to Bermuda and after going thru all the reviews we decided to stay at Cambridge Beach Resort. It is located close to Naval Dockyard, where majority of the activities happens after Hamilton. The property is very large, have few beach, but realized that they were small beache. We were there during off-peak season, so we found privacy we were looking for but dont know what would be the situation if the hotel is sold out. This is a best place to relax and vegetate. It is not located very well if someone is interested in more activities. Food place on site are just fine, although have great view, food is fine, we stayed for four days and therfore we found that we were out of choice.
I think Hartleys underwater dive is must see, although it would be nice if we can walk freely underwater. Best thing about was that we were picked up right outside our hotel and very friendly people. Overall, Bermuda is very fun place for us to visit, people were nice and we had random talk with locals.

Heaven on Earth
Did not know what to expect since this was our first time visiting Bermuda. The Cambridge Resort & Spa was a little bit of Heaven on Earth. It was glorious! We were met with hot towels to freshen up from our plane ride. The staff was so courteous. Our room and the view was spectacular. Plan on returning and would recommend it to all our friends.

Peaceful
2nd time to Cambridge since 18 yrs ago. We wanted a quiet place to relax and only make decisions on where we going to eat or do for the day. Golf one day, fished another, etc. The staff was very friendly including the front desk. We ate on property for dinner and also went to other restaurants including going after dinner dancing. David the chef, even cooked the fish for us that we caught which was a nice touch. David served the fish in a beautiful presentation. We enjoyed 4 o clock tea and the rum swizzler party where we mingled with other guests. The breakfast buffet had a variety of different foods which was new to us. You can also have breakfast served on your patio. Before dinner we sat on our lounge chairs outside our room looking at the sunset sipping on wine. The room came with wine glasses. We came back relaxed and it actually felt like a vacation.
Traveler's tip on dining
We enjoyed the sunset on the outside deck of "Ocean Club Restaurant" overlooking the ocean. The seafood restaurant preparation of seafood is a little new wave. We savored our dinner and desert. Waterlots advertised outside deck was a disappointment. We arrived early to sit outside. Maybe it was the Oct. We had a drink inside before dinner which was pleasant.Service was excellent. We bought a case of water, bottles of wine, snacks on the cab ride to the hotel.
