Disappointing
On arrival we were given a lousy room with a view of a brick wall, windows that could not be opened (mechanism was broken), a toilet in the middle of a tiny bathroom, a shower in a tub hidden behind a wall - dark and slippery, a safe box that would not work. I dont need to go on, you get the picture. Next day we were transferred to a proper room but the stay left a lingering dissatisfaction. On the positive side, the staff were pleasant and the location was very good. For a hotel which is a member of the SLH, this was sub-par.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Dont stay in a duplex
Fabulous hotel with great service. But if you stay in a duplex you have to walk down a flight of stairs to go to the bathroom - not fun in the middle of the night - and your closet is upstairs while your chest of drawers is downstairs. Beautiful, sophisticated setting)) Food is wonderful but expensive. Great location.
