Beautiful romantic retreat with impeccable service
The Wentworth Mansion blew us away with its grandeur, history, and architecture. Older hotels are sometimes outdated or dirty, but the Wentworth Mansion is extremely clean and has all the modern amenities. It’s kind of funny because as part of our sight-seeing, we toured the Edmonton-Alson House, but we found that the Wentworth Mansion was a lot more beautiful and interesting! This hotel is wonderfully charming, romantic, and luxurious. The service that we received was outstanding. Everybody who worked at the hotel were very attentive, but Josh and Tim were especially considerate and thoughtful. Josh called ahead to the restaurants that we were going to to make sure that they were open, and Tim brought me a book that I had picked up in the living room and then forgotten about. I ended up really enjoying the book. They truly wanted to make sure that we had a great time, and that we did! All in all, we are very happy that we decided to splurge on the Wentworth Mansion. It was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary! We will definitely come stay here again if we are in Charleston in the future.

Excellent Hotel!
This was one of the finest places I have ever stayed. The hotel, which is a restored historic property, was in excellent condition. The room we stayed in was large and very comfortable. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable concerning the history of the building. The restaurant (located in an adjacent building) served a great breakfast that was included with the rate. While not inexpensive, I felt the rate was appropriate for the level of quality. I would stay here again, and recommend it to anyone interested in a memorable experience.

Very nice
Every thing about our stay was prefect. We wanted a queit location, which meant we had a bit of a hike to the restaurants but we enjoy walking. Marcus at the front desk was exceptional.
