Location wa great...but
The location of the hotel was excellent. Everything that Darling Harbour has to offer is within walking distance. Upon check-in the staff were excellent. However, after refuting some mini-bar charges to our account, they were later processed to our credit card after we were assured they wouldn’t be. We didn’t inventory the list upon check-in, and I think it may not have been checked in-between guests. Just something to watch for if you stay here. The heated pool was not heated, but the location made up for the other dissappointments.

Excellent Hotel!
We were extremely pleased with this hotel and the service. We arrived early and the staff offered to hold our bags until our room was ready which was a big help. They also rushed to get our room ready much earlier than their normal check in time. The staff was more than happy to help us out with any questions and requests that we had. It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel with such nice and sincere people! It was a very warm welcome for us to Australia!

Medina Grand Harbourside
Great location and very decent rooms, but don’t expect to get a decent view. Also, it can be quiet noisy on the weekend with all the bars and clubs being not located too far away from the hotel. All in all very good value for money.

Try and make sure you get a high floor room and a room facing the harbour side.
