Not bad...
Breakfast was OK, made my kids happy. Pool was nice and warm, but saw a lot of hair floating on the surface. Room was typical for the price range. Floors were very dirty, wear your shoes. Bathroom fan was extremely noisy. Nice pillows and comfortable beds.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Within a very short walking distance of the 82nd Street MAX stop. Very convenient and cheap transportation to the Rose Garden. Go Blazers!

Two Thumbs Up
My wife and I spent 5 very pleasant nights at the Portland Comfort Inn this past Thanksgiving holiday. Every aspect of our hotel stay was of highest quality. The front desk was always friendly, courteous and helpful. The cleaning staff each day restored the room to beautiful order. Most of one day we had the "Do Not Disturb" sign displayed, and at 2pm we got a call asking if we would like our room cleaned, which they kindly did. The rooms are modern, spacious and clean. The breakfast that is included is a full breakfast with eggs, waffles, all sorts of bread, muffins, biscuits and gravy, and a variety of fresh fruit and beverages. After that which brings me to the workout room- which had only 3 machines total, but which was OK as no one else was using the room. I like the convenience- easy on/off access to the Interstate (84 as I recall), and it was quick to get to wherever we had to go. The hotel was in a quiet enough neighborhood- a cross between light commercial and residential. The hotel had the nicety of covered parking. The one drawback was highway noise, but this was just slight, muffled by the drone of the heat, and hardly a criticism. In summary, I highly recommend this hotel and would plan on staying at Comfort Inn again next time I am in Portland.
