Great location
As always, you can’t beat the location. Older building, but well kept and quiet....

Do not use GO airlines, we were 3 hours late from Honululu. The ground crew were terrible,

Fabulous spot, but pick your room carefully
The Surfside is a great spot, right on the water with lovely beaches in both directions. All rooms look to the water, and it is very peaceful compared to many of the other condo resorts up the coast - most of which are accross a very busy road with a lot of commercial traffic. Unfortunately, our room was extremely dated, not very clean, and did not have air conditioning or a dish washer. It was also right by the elevator, so it was sometimes noisy. But, honestly, I’d do it again, the spot is so lovely and the grounds are also very nice. Just wish they’d spend a little fixing up the place and cleaning it.

Back and Better Than Ever
We returned to the Surfside for the 3rd time in 4 years. The recent visit was equal if not better than in the past. Definitely not your 5 star Grand Wailea, but considering all things a great place as it has been.
Traveler's tip on dining
Cheeseburger and Paradise at the Wailea Shops is a great restaurant and offers an affordable menu. For water sports, rentals at the Grand Wailea located right on Wailea Beach is convenient. 5 min drive to Wailea Beach from the Surfside, and the rental counter is right on the beach. Kayaking from Wailea Beach to the Kihei Surfside is about 20-30 minutes one way.
