Its cheap for a reason
We stayed two nights. The price was good so we didnt expect alot but what we found was bad. Lots of maintenance issues(broken door handles, dirty furniture, balcony door wouldnt open, no hot water, hot tub didnt work, advertised restraunt was not open, 2 of 4 elevators were not working correctly, the other was a service elevator and the other was out of order. Staff was friendly but totally unable or unwilling to do anything. We wont be back.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
The spa is operated by a seperate group. A married couple and they were great. Prices are a little high for a massage but the service was great.

It was not bad.....
The great thing about this hotel is the location on the beach and the rates were very reasonable for the last day of August into early September. The room was nice...a few minor maintenance issues like needing batteries for the remote and burned out light bulbs needing replaced. Also note that the refrigerator is extremely small but functional. The elevators were the worst thing. Stayed on the 15th floor and because the elevators were so slow we found ourselves in the service elevator most of the time, which was not that pleasant. There was a little confusion about a breakfast buffet. We were told they had one for $5 and it was not a continental breakfast which was fine, but when we went the next morning for breakfast a woman at the door rather rudely told me they were closed....So we made other plans after that. The rest of the staff were very nice and helpful. For a motel room it was nice.
