Excellent Disney Experience!
The BoardWalk Inn and the adjacent BoardWalk Villahs are an ideal location for Disney visitors. Epcot is literally steps away. A sligtly longer but very pleasant stroll takes you to Hollywood Studios. Both parks are also accessible by boat from the launch in the back of the hotel. The BoardWalk areas offers nice shops and restaurants as well as constant entertainment. The BoardWalk Villas are terrific, with a jacuzzi tub and full kitchen in the 1 and 2 bedroom units. These rooms are wonderful for families, but also afford nice stretch out space for couples. The separate living and sleeping areas ares especially useful when one family member awakens earlier or stays up later than the others.

great place to stay
Boardwalk Villas is a very neat clean place to stay. Be careful not to be right above boardwalk cause it could get a little noisey at night. Friendly staff. Would definately stay here again. Large room for a studio. Close walking distance from Epcot.

A Very Pleasant Experience
First time staying at the Boardwalk Villas. Very impressed, would go again. Room was clean and spacious for 2 adults and 2 two teenagers. Was nice that they had two separate bathrooms with a sink in each; one had a toliet and shower, the other had a soaking tub. The kitchenette had everything we wanted: refrig, microwave, counter space, dishes, etc. Room service was hardly noticeable; they stayed away when we wanted privacy, and showed up to refresh towels, make beds, etc. when we were out. We never saw them, but they did a fabulous job and left our stuff untouched, too. The pool was great -- we did only the Luna Pool. Towels were always available, you could order food & drinks at the walk-up bar (although pricey for the adult beverages). The pool slide was a lot of fun, even for the adults! We exclusively relied on the buses and water taxis for transportation to Downtown Disney, Magic Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios and never had to wait more than 10 minutes for the next bus/boat. The Boardwalk at night was fun, with enough variety of restaurants, bars, entertainment to make it fun. Particularly like the walk-up window for pizza and the ice cream shop. Disney is reinvesting in the property and updating the interior and exterior (new roofs, new canopies, new siding, etc.). All in all, a great property, with all the service and amenities you expect from Disney.
Traveler's tip on dining
Visit the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney if you have a family. We thought being a novelty restaurant, like a Planet Hollywood for example, that the food would be mediocre, but it was surprisingly good. They had a diverse menu and plenty of selections. Of course, the atmosphere is a lot of fun for the kids (elephants, gorillas, rain shower every 20 mins). Its a nice respite from the hot summer temperatures, too. We recommend it.
