Great location...so-so service
La Fonda was located in a perfect spot in central Santa Fe, and the room was fine. It’s an older hotel, so it has character and charm. The front desk service was detatched almost to the point of being unpleasant, and we didn’t feel like a welcomed guest of the hotel, but more like an annoyance. This was true at check-in as well as check-out.

Lovely unique hotel.
It’s a hotel unique in character and convenient to all the lovely restaurant, museums and shopping in Santa Fe. We stayed there at Christmas and the experience was magical. The staff were friendly, the room clean and very comfortable and the hotels shops were very nice. We enjoyed walking to the beautiful churches and the museums. The lobby and main restaurant are beautiful. I have stayed in Santa Fe before but staying at the La Fonda made it a much richer experience.

Great older hotel
Few minor problems. Room key didn’t work upon check-in, no heat in recently refurbished room. Staff took care immediately.Suprise fee for parking (12.00 per day). Convient access to square.
