Holiday Inn French Quarter
Everything about the hotel was very nice. If youre excited about visiting the French Quarter and cant wait to party on Bourbon Street. This is an excellent hotel for that. Its not on Bourbon street, so it is quiet, for the most part. I had a street side room, and if there were loud straggling partiers coming up or down the street in the middle of the night, I heard it loud and clear. Even so, it was an excellent hotel.

Just what we needed.
My husband and I took my 20 y/o daughter there. She wanted to do a tour of University of New Orleans. We figured while were there, well stay in the French Quarter and see the sights. This hotel has alot of character and charm. Its centrally located to all the sights. DO NOT RENT A CAR!! YOU CAN WALK TO EVERYTHING AND YOU WONT HAVE TO FIND A PARKING SPACE OR PAY MORE $ TO HOTEL TO PARK IT. The only draw backs for us were the mattresses were horrible! None of us slept at all. Very worn - felt like you were sleeping on the edge of a crater and that you were going to fall in all night long. The bathrooms was very small as well. We could totally live with this but wanted to note it for the review. Over all, I would recommend but would tell the front desk that you wanted a room with newer mattresses for sure!
