Love the big screen in lounge
The experience was great and the lounge with the HHHuge screen was wonderful for watching the football games on sunday.

Perfect location to fully experience New Orleans!
The hotel is located within a 1-2 block radius of everything cool in New Orleans. It’s less than one block to Decatur St.; 2-3 blocks to Bourbon St., the St. Charles streetcar line, and Harrah’s casino. The rooms were a bit smaller than I had expected but then again, I wasn’t in the room for that long. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will probably stay there on my next visit to New Orleans.
I went on Halloween and stayed for a few days more. There was tons of stuff to do such as: Voodoo Music Festival, Halloween on Bourbon St., Saints game. I would definitely recommend taking a cemetery tour and going to a Saints game. I have never seen any other city that is into a team or football as the city of New Orleans is into the Saints. It was a great game too. You can’t help but get into it, even if you don’t like football you will be cheering.

There are better hotels in the area
Overall, as a basic room conveniently located within New Orleans, the Sheraton was fine. However, you can find better hotels (nicer, cleaner rooms) in the area for the same price.
