Not Impressed
The Hotel employeees are very nices. The area is go to much expence, like taxis, souvenirs, etc.

Can’t wait to go back
Hotel was awesome. Food as OK. Very relaxing & very clean. Staff is nice. They will pitch you on timeshares so try to avoid that if you are not interested or bring your check book. This trip was my 2nd time there is I love it there.

Pay for the Caribe bus service in advance or the local cabs will charge you $50 to go to the airport

Had an Awesome Time!
I bought this trip for my boyfriend’s birthday, and we were in the DR from 07/09-07/14. It was a great time. The hotel was breath taking, and the food was surprisingly good. We never had an empty cup or plate. I would suggest that you tip everyone that runs the place a little bit at a time and often (your chambermaid, bar tenders and restaurants)... a little bit truly goes a long way! Also, book a few excursions of the resort if you have the time or money (horseback riding was great, as was paradise island and the night on the town trip). I would certainly return to this beautiful resort, as I felt like I got my money’s worth and then some.
