Nice Hotel
The Churchill borders a good residential neighborhood; embassies and great side streets to take a walk. The room was big for a city hotel and was very quiet. Furnishings were fine. A few blocks to Metro and DuPont Circle. Small restaurant serves good breakfasts with good service. Hotel staff was fine. Parking was expensive, but not out of line with other area hotels. Good hotel at a good price.
Building Museum is terrific.

Churchill experience
I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is historic and you can feel its history. I would stay there again, however, I did have a leather jacket taken from my room.

Gorgeous hotel at a great price
Lovely hotel. My room was spacious and comfy and the bathroom was huge! The staff was very nice. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Do be aware that even though the hotel is a short walk from the Dupont Curcle Metro station, it is an uphill walk so you wouldn’t want to do it if you were pulling more than a roll-aboard piece of luggage.
Take the metro from Washington National to Dupont Circle or you can take a shuttle for $14. A cab will cost slightly more depending on traffic.
