Old world charm with easy access to Chicago.
While I do not have much experience navigating large cities, the Majestic was easy t find just off the lake. Check-in was quick and efficient. The room was extremely comfortable with all of the necessary amenities. The radiator heat took a minute to adjust, but within minutes, the room was toasty warm. The bed was also very sleepable. The large lobby had amble comfortable seeting in front of the fireplace. The free drinks and fresh fruit was a nice treat. The hotel was not in the center of down town, but close enough that everything was easily accessible. Parking was close by and was extremely cost effective. Actually, it was one of the best deals for parking in the city I found when comparing other hotels.

not impressed
The room was too small, the photo on internet deceptive. The windows did not open, so the room was stuffy despite the ceiling fan. the staff was friendly, however & the hotel was close to Halsted Street.

Fantastic service
The folks at the front desk were always available to help with restaurant reservations, etc. Best service I’ve had at any hotel.
